What brands of composite decking do you carry?
We proudly supply leading composite and PVC decking brands including TimberTech, Azek, Trex, Deckotech, MoistureShield, Fiberon, Deckorators, Zuri, and Versatex. These low-maintenance materials offer long-lasting durability and modern design flexibility.
Do you carry non-wood alternatives?
Yes. In addition to hardwoods, we stock composite decking, PVC decking, thermally modified woods, and aluminum systems designed for exterior projects.
What makes Ipe special?
Ipe, also known as Brazilian Walnut, is one of the hardest and densest woods in the world. It naturally resists rot, insects, and extreme weather. It carries a Class A fire rating (the same as concrete and steel), resists surface scratches, and stays cooler due to its heat-repelling properties.
What makes Cumaru special?
Cumaru, or Brazilian Teak, is a strong, durable hardwood with warm golden-brown tones. It offers excellent outdoor performance and is a more affordable alternative to Ipe.
What is tropical hardwood?
Tropical hardwoods are dense species sourced from South America, Africa, and Asia. They offer natural resistance to pests, decay, and heavy wear, making them ideal for decking, fencing, and exterior structures.
What are the benefits of using tropical hardwood?
Tropical hardwoods last significantly longer than softwood or synthetic alternatives, require minimal maintenance, and provide natural beauty with rich variations in grain and color.
Can tropical hardwood be refinished?
Yes. These woods can be sanded and refinished to restore their original tone, making them long-lasting, premium options for outdoor builds.
How much hardwood will I need?
Your needs depend on project size and board width. Hardwood decking is sold by the linear foot. Use this formula:
- Calculate square footage (L × W).
2. Select board width and gap (¼” or T&G).
3. Multiply by the correct factor (see below).
¼” Gap Boards:
- 4″ boards → 3.43
- 6″ boards → 2.20
Tongue & Groove Boards:
- 4″ boards → 3.84
- 6″ boards → 2.34
Always add 5–10% extra for waste. Our New Jersey sales team can calculate exact quantities for you.
Do you offer cutting or milling services?
Yes. We provide select custom milling and profiling upon request. Contact the New Jersey warehouse for availability.
Do you accept returns?
Yes, within 15 days of the invoice date.
- A 25% restocking fee applies to processed orders.
- Special orders cannot be returned or refunded.
- Adhesive products (glue, oils, adhesives) are not returnable.

Do you ship from New Jersey to other states?
Yes. Although we serve New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania locally, we also ship from our New Jersey warehouse to customers anywhere in the United States.

Yes. Many materials are stocked at the New Jersey warehouse and available for same-day pickup when ordered in advance.

Shipping costs depend on order size, weight, and destination. We work with multiple carriers to secure competitive rates and provide quotes upfront.
Can the carrier deliver directly to my jobsite?
Yes. Most freight companies can deliver to homes, warehouses, or jobsites as long as the area is accessible for a delivery truck.

How do you ensure legal timber sourcing?
Every harvested tree is:
- Tagged with a unique ID and ring print
- Evaluated by forestry engineers
- Selected only if non-viable or non-seed-bearing
- Monitored via aerial and satellite systems
- Tracked through the full chain of custody
Harvested areas are not revisited for 25 years, ensuring healthy forest regeneration.
